Lightbox, Google Maps, Marker Manager and more…

This weekend will see me working hard on integrating a bunch of new features to the mash-up over at Give Earth a Hand - hopefully either with a layer or even better the Javascript Lightbox effect originally from Lokesh Dhakar, the complete view of the Earth chain (this is causing problems as I need to zoom in very close to the Earth surface and because the chain runs around the equator, most of the surfaces are water - and these are not in the Google mapping system so I’ll have to use a layer somehow!) and a search possibility for specific users.

I am also in the final beta stage of setting up PHPList, a newsletter tool which I will be testing this weekend. That is pretty much what I’ll be doing this weekend other than doing a lot of PR for Give Earth a Hand to get the movement going.
